CHARLES McCLURE Obituary
Age 59, after a courageous battle with cancer, on March 13, 2014, of Whitehall, formerly of Mt. Lebanon. Loving husband of Shari A. (Ferline); most awesome father of Charles W. McClure IV, Kyle W., and Ethan J. McClure; brother of Melissa (Marty) Becker, Martha (Steve) Longe and the late Anne McClure; son-in-law of Marilyn Ferline and Don McCarthy; brother-in-law of Robbyn (Chris) Snyder, Lori Flores and Susan Ferline. Chas was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoyed coaching youth sports and spending summer afternoons barbecuing with friends and family at the McClure Tiki Bar. Chuck's spirit and love of life will be missed by all those whose lives he touched. Friends will be received at the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, 15227 on Sunday from 12-4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until the time of service at 8 p.m. Interment will be private. If desired, family suggests contributions to Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, 1 North Linden Street, Duquesne, PA 15110. Please send condolences to:

Dear McClure family, we had the great privilege of getting to now Chas through his son Kyle and Kyle's work with the River City Brass. It was a pleasure to have Kyle and his dad both at our gala last fall and to see them interact. Kyle is a great young man and it's easy to see why that is the case, given his family and his dad. our prayer for you is peace and comfort in this time of difficulty.
