Charles A. Meyer, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025, at the age of 84.

Born on November 15, 1940, Charlie was the son of Charles and Rita Meyer. He lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and deep devotion to his family.

He was the loving husband of Faith Meyer, with whom he shared a long and joyful marriage. Together, they raised a beautiful family, and their love was a constant example to all who knew them.

Charlie was a devoted father to Charles(Chas), Michael, and Kenneth; a proud grandfather to Trevor, Lindsay, Charlie, Dawn, Quynn, and Jesse; and a cherished great-grandfather to Alex. He is survived by his loving sister, Kristine, and joins his late brother, David, in eternal rest.

Charlie had many cousins and nieces/nephews all of whom he loved dearly and who held a special place in his heart.

Throughout his life, Charlie held many jobs, but he was best known as the owner and operator of the Hess Fuel Station in Hackettstown, New Jersey. There, he became a familiar and friendly face in the community, known for his hard work, warm heart, and dedication to those he served.

Charlie proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He will be laid to rest with military honors at the Florida National Veterans Cemetery - a fitting tribute to his life of service.

He will be remembered most for his generous spirit, loving nature, and the deep care he showed to everyone around him. Charlie touched many lives and leaves behind a legacy of faith, family, and quiet strength.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children - two causes close to Charlie's heart.

He will be dearly missed and forever loved.
