Chucky was a very determined, caring, and intelligent man—the very best traits of the Nist family. I trust that he is now in heaven being exalted for those virtues. My deepest condolences to his family.

My brother Chuck's sense of honor, kindness, love and spirit of giving are the legacy he left us and his memory will live in my heart until we meet again. Rest in peace, sweet brother and remember, " we are the brother and sister which nothing can sever!" I love you.

Chucky, you are an amazing father and best friend. I thank you for being such a strong rock in our lives. You have taught us how to love and show compassion to those around us. A tribute to a kind, witty, generous, great sense of humor, warm & loving man, who was my step-brother. My heart goes out to all of his family. I know he loved the Lord and I'm sure he's in heaven with his Dad, Nana and all that loved him. Thank God he has no more pain, but life everlasting. He will be very much missed by me and my Mom,Marion Nist, his Dad's surviving wife, who loved him as a son and he loved her too...

We were saddened to learn of Charles' (Chuckie to his cousins) passing. The memories are sweet of our visits together in Pittsburgh as children, and of the few but enjoyable times together over the years. May God keep you during this time of sorrow.

Now Charles has joined his Parents. May they rest in peace.
