I was an awkward and lanky teenage girl when I met the boys on 9th(?) street who were in my class at Kino Junior High School. While we moved in different social circles, Jon and his friends were always nice and kind to me. We grew up together through high school, knowing each other without hanging out together. Jon always had a smile and I knew somehow that if I were ever in danger or trouble, those boys on 9th would have my back. God speed.

Ricky, you were like a Brother to me. Thank you for all the kindness you´ve shown me over the years. I learned a lot from you.
The stories that could be told. We had a lot of them.
You didn´t deserve this early exit, but I know nothing but love awaits you on the other side.
