Sending my sincere condolences to all those who knew him and loved him. I knew Chuck in his role as Chief of the Emmaus Police Department. He was a well-respected and admirable leader in our community; Emmaus was made a better and safer place to live because of his leadership. The department was lucky to have him. As a person, I found him to be kind-hearted, open-minded, honest, and humble. He was always willing to offer a listening ear and an encouraging word. He was a bright light in this world and his passing leaves it a little dimmer. I will remember him fondly.

I attended high School with Chuck at Whitehall. We were in shop classes together and ran the mile and two mile on the track team. After graduation we were both stationed at Fort Bragg during the same time frame and often car pooled back and forth on long weekends. We often crossed paths throughout our careers in law enforcement and I can´t recall a time when we didn´t share a laugh remembering times from our past, especially the fact that we were both distance runners on the track team. Chuck always had a smile on his face and was truly a class act, and an all around great guy who will be missed by everyone who knew him. My condolences to Lisa and family, may God watch over you during this difficult time.

Dear Lisa and Family, you have my deepest condolences. As you knew and have become much more aware, Chuck was loved by so many throughout all facets of his life. His friends are all hurting deeply and will be for a long time. However, Chuck has caused us to reminisce now while we still have our wits, and cherish all the wonderful times we had with him over the last six decades. Each of those memories bring us smiles, laughter, and a precious sense of the great man he was. I hope you can find peace and know you will always have our support.

To the Palmer Family, our deepest condolences at this time. I grew up with Chuckie across the street in West Catty and when we moved in the neighborhood 25 years ago I thought it was too funny to live across the street again. He always said hello when we saw each other, and he went out of his way to help many. He will be truly missed.

To the Palmer Family and Friends,
The Fellowship Community Facility Services and Transportations Team send you our deepest sympathy during this time of loss. Chuck was an extremely trusted and a welcomed individual in our community, taking time to drive our residence to doctor appointments, scheduled trips and to the local grocery store. In the short time he spent with us, please know that his care for our residents went unnoticed and was greatly appreciated. He will be missed. With our deepest sympathy.

Dear Palmer family,
You have my deepest sympathy. Chuck was one of the first people I met in 5th grade at WCMS, after going to a small catholic school. He was always such a friendly, nice guy. I saw him at Metro & John´s with some other WHS friends summer 2023 and I´m glad I got to say hi again. I wish you peace.

Lisa and family,
I was shocked to learn of the passing of Chuck. I have faith that God will get you through this difficult time. He was a great coworker and you could always count on him being there when needed. Also he was a great friend. I always looked forward to seeing him at our breakfasts and he will be missed. I enjoyed listening to him talk about his latest adventure whether it as a trip on his bike or traveling to various locations with you and his children and grandchildren. When I retired I told Chuck that I thought he would make a good Chief at some time and I am glad that he had the opportunity to do so. You can take comfort in the fact that he had a positive effect on many people.

Lisa, Amy, Megan, Steve, Cora and Eve, words cannot describe the heartbreak you are feeling. Our thoughts and prayers will be forever with you. Chuck was the best neighbor and friend you could ever ask for. We will cherish the 29 years we shared chatting over the fence, sharing a beer, watching the joy he had spending time in the pool with the twins and tending to our horseshoe pits in the field. I still have your text "shoes at 6:00", We´re all in Chuck. RIP my friend.

It was a great shock and sadness to hear of Chuck's passing. I had the pleasure of working with him and protect him over the radio due to our jobs. I also worked with him in the field on certain call outs. He was a kind, generous and caring man. He was also a great Chief and leader. My heart goes out to his family and all who knew him. RIP

As a longtime resident of Emmaus we are so thankful to Charles for the role he had in the safety and protection of the citizens of Emmaus, as Chief of Police. More important than that, are the personal memories we have of him during our family get togethers. We will always remember how Charles took it upon himself, not as Chief of Police, but as loving family, to help with the procession at our Dad's service which will always mean the world to our family. Deepest condolences to all. Charles will be missed and remembered fondly. From Rose and Barry Plarr

I spent most of my Summers with the Palmers. Charlie and I would go down to Jefferson Street playground to go swimming. I remember the one time, it was about four or five he decided to dive off the big diving board. He ended up doing a belly flop. When he got out of the pool his belly was all red, but he had a big smile on his face.
