We were all thankful to get to know Charlie. He truly was a witty and generous soul. What a joy it was to talk to him about Lake Dunmore and his family cabin there - not to mention having the opportunity to visit over several summers. You could see the love he poured into the family home there. Fondly and with deepest sympathies to Jenny, Kris and all of Charlie's family.

We spent many happy times with Charlie in North Carolina and after. He and Don had a very special relationship and did a lot of joking around. We will miss him greatly , but thankful he was a special part of our lives. Our sincere condolences to the family.

Lake Dunmore, my happy place. I love you Dad.
