Charles Phillips Obituary
Charles was a free spirit, known for his energetic nature and love for music. He had a passion for playing the guitar and enjoyed expressing himself through music.
He is survived by his mother, Marion Phillips, and his father, Charles James Wright. Charles is also survived by his son Devon Wilson-Brito and daughter-in-law Nicole Wilson-Brito, along with their children Devon Wilson-Brito Jr., Harley Wilson-Brito, Anais Wilson-Brito, and Tristan Wilson-Brito. He is also survived by his son Charles Julian Phillips Jr. and daughter Verlecia La'Queen Phillips, along with their children Kadenn Omari Phillips, Jordynn Valarie Smith, and Julian Vincent Smith. Charles is also remembered by his ex-wife Valarie Phillips.
In addition, Charles is survived by his sisters Dr. Linda Beecher, Ludlow Beecher, Skye Chancellor, and Ardin Beecher as well as his sister Lisa Cummings, Charles Cummings, Chyna Pryce, Amber Pryce, and Charles Cummings Jr.
Charles will be forever remembered by his life partner, Keisha Gonzalez.
A ceremony to celebrate Charles' life will be held at Buggs Funeral Home & Crematory in Melbourne, Florida. The funeral home has been entrusted with assisting the family during this difficult time.

I always loved seeing Chuckie come in while I was at jam sessions. You always saw his passion while he was on stage and I had the honor of playing with him a few time and it was an experience that helped me let go of inhibitions behind the drums and just learn to feel the music. So sorry that you are gone you will be missed.

What a soulful musician he was! Also how nice he was and how genuine he was. He showed me how to play the drums.
