Mr. Charles E. Rogers, Jr. age 91 of Tequesta, Florida passed away on August 17, 2017 with his family by his side.

Mr. Rogers was born in Bradenton, Florida on February 20, 1926 to the late Charles Edward Rogers, Sr. and Eleanor Greeson Rogers. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of forty-nine years, Dorothy B. Bannister Rogers.

Charles studied Electronics Engineering at Georgia Tech. and left to join the Navy where he competed flight training. Upon leaving the Navy he returned to school to complete his engineering degree at University of Miami. His career began as an electronic engineer at Eastern Airlines followed by serving as a Vice President at Babcock Construction Company in Coral Gables, Florida. From there Charles returned to his interests in electronics and aviation and would spend the next thirty-two years at Gables Engineering, Inc. where he ultimately served as President. In retirement Charles enjoyed working with personal computers at home, studying the Bible and serving at his church.

Survivors include his four children; Howard Dennis Rogers, age 69, Charles G. Rogers, age 66, Priscilla Lynn Davis, age 63, and Stephen Edward Rogers, age 60 and a total of seven grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at Grace Immanuel Bible Church, 17475 Jonathan Drive, Jupiter, Florida, 33477 at 10:30 am on Friday, August 25, 2017.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Grace Immanuel Bible Church, 17475 Jonathan Drive, Jupiter, Florida, 33477
