I´m sad as we both grew older our time slipped away. You always had a smile and were never afraid to let your thoughts be known. Look after the old bird up there for me. Miss you guys dearly.

I am so pleased to have known him. He was such an amazing guy. My sweet husband didn't take to many people, but he really liked Chuck. My Riley was a life long smoker so when Pam and Chuck came to visit, Chuck knew because of the smoke that he could not come in. He poked his head in to say hi and waited outside for Pam. Riley at that time never went outside unless he had a doctor's appointment. He went out and sat on the porch in order to talk to Chuck. He stayed outside talking to him until they left. I have a really sweet picture of myself, Pam and Riley that Chuck took. I just wish that he could have been in the picture also. I am forever grateful that he and Pam found each other. He will forever be in my heart and on my mind.

Chuck, you were my brother from another mother, my friend, my confidant, my weekend warrior. The countless times dancing in the clubs to the 80s, raising hell at the German Fest and laughing until our faces fell off. You were an amazing man with endless talents. Your heart was always in the right place, fighting for the underdog . I was so happy when you and Pam found each other, true soulmates. Her love, and your love for her, gave you strength and years beyond what we ever thought you'd have. Pam will always have her NY family. I miss you, my friend.... until we meet again

You are heavy on my mind today Uncle
Chuck. Not sure why. But I feel blessed to have known you and have you be apart of my life. A free spirit that followed his heart and I hope your climbing every hill up there pal. I will see you again.
