Charles Howard "Chuck" Rowe, 58, passed away on July 16, 2023, in Hendersonville, TN. Born on September 3, 1964, in Kingston, NY, to JaneAnne and Myron Rowe, Chuck was a man whose life was marked by a spirited dedication to family, a passion for the outdoors, and a multifaceted career.

Chuck's early life in Kingston was filled with activities that shaped his character; he attended Kingston High School and was actively involved in DeMolay, which instilled in him the virtues of leadership and camaraderie. His professional journey was as diverse as his interests. It began with beekeeping, a skill he cherished throughout his life, passed down from his father . He later served as a firefighter in New York, a job he deeply missed after relocating to Tennessee. Chuck's career path also included roles as a truck driver, a supervisor at FedEx and UPS. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to co-own the Rutledge in Nashville, Tennessee. Additionally, his love for craftsmanship was evident in his lifelong contracting work and his enjoyment of woodworking. He always said "the wood spoke to him"

Beyond his professional life, Chuck was an avid outdoorsman who relished kayaking, hiking, and skiing. His love for music was profound, often showcased by his skill at playing the guitar. He enjoyed playing baseball as a youth and later on coaching his kids teams. He loved to grill, which complemented his reputation as an amazing cook.

Chuck's family was his pride and joy. He is survived by his wife, Pam Rowe of Gallatin, TN; children, Andrielle (James Massey) O'Neal of Mesa, AZ, Dylan (Brandy) O'Neal of Gallatin, TN, and his four children from a previous marriage, Dawn, Alec, Travis, and Matthew Rowe, all of TN. His life was further blessed with grandsons, Tucker and Oakley O'Neal. He also leaves behind his parents, JaneAnne and Myron Rowe of Kingston, NY; his brothers, Allen (Cheryl) Rowe and David (Lisa) Rowe, both of Kingston, NY; Two sister-in-laws Cathy Piworski of IN and Cindy Ackert of NY, Uncle Jim and Aunt Sue of NY, Uncle Louis of TX, several cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and numerous relatives who will miss him dearly.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Clarence and Evelyn Rowe, Allen and Ora Lasher Rose; his uncles, Alfred Rose; Granvel Miller and his aunts, Ann Rose, Marie Miller; along with his brother, Urban Piworski of Indiana.

Chuck faced his battle with cancer head-on since 2014, demonstrating the resilience and strength he was known for. Every day he faced his challenges with a renewed strength and determination that most people never knew. He was definitely the strongest man I have ever know. He research and implemented all the things he learned. Just to strengthen his body. Having to think about every breath he took was reality he lived with daily.
Chuck was an amazing man.
A true renaissance man.
He will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of the people who loved him.

Chuck was cremated at Sumner Funeral and Cremation in Hendersonville, TN. His life was a testament to the strength of the human spirit, the depth of familial love, and the joy of living a life filled with passion and purpose. He will be remembered as a strong, articulate history buff, and most importantly, a man who made every moment count.

I am so pleased to have known him. He was such an amazing guy. My sweet husband didn't take to many people, but he really liked Chuck. My Riley was a life long smoker so when Pam and Chuck came to visit, Chuck knew because of the smoke that he could not come in. He poked his head in to say hi and waited outside for Pam. Riley at that time never went outside unless he had a doctor's appointment. He went out and sat on the porch in order to talk to Chuck. He stayed outside talking to him until they left. I have a really sweet picture of myself, Pam and Riley that Chuck took. I just wish that he could have been in the picture also. I am forever grateful that he and Pam found each other. He will forever be in my heart and on my mind.

Chuck, you were my brother from another mother, my friend, my confidant, my weekend warrior. The countless times dancing in the clubs to the 80s, raising hell at the German Fest and laughing until our faces fell off. You were an amazing man with endless talents. Your heart was always in the right place, fighting for the underdog . I was so happy when you and Pam found each other, true soulmates. Her love, and your love for her, gave you strength and years beyond what we ever thought you'd have. Pam will always have her NY family. I miss you, my friend.... until we meet again
