Charles E. Ruprecht, Sr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the age of 82. He leaves behind a loving family, including his devoted wife, Millie Ruprecht (nee Geiger), and their children: Amy (Matthew) Hazzard, Ellen (James) Owen, and Charles (Fatou) Ruprecht, Jr. He was a proud grandfather to Madie, Catie, Griffin, Sylvia, Millie, and Amina, who brought immense joy to his life. Charles is also survived by his brother, Richard Ruprecht, and his nephew, Matthew Ruprecht.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24th, from 9:00 AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Xavier Church, located at 611 Sycamore St., Cincinnati, OH 45202. The family requests that sympathy be expressed through memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or to St. Xavier Church Cincinnati.

Charlie was a true sports enthusiast. He never missed a chance to watch and cheer on Xavier basketball and the Cincinnati Reds and was always wearing a cap in support. His life was filled with cherished pastimes, including road-tripping, golfing, attending his children's sporting events, enjoying gatherings with friends, and savoring a good cigar in Charlie's Sports Bar.

Beyond his devotion to family and friends, Charlie was deeply committed to the Cincinnati business community through Doppes Lumber Company, where he dedicated much of his life. He took immense pride in the business and was instrumental in ensuring its continued success, laying a solid foundation for his son to carry on the family legacy.

Charlie was truly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and his legacy will endure through the lives he touched.
