Charles is survived by his son; Danny Shorter, daughters; Shirley Mills, Joyce Robertson, Jean Perry, Joan Tymes and Diane Saunders, 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, sisters; Lorraine Gross and Emeline Shorter, brothers; Clifford and Edward Shorter, and a host of family and friends.
Funeral service 11 am Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Mt. Salem A.U.M.P. Church, Cedar Ln., Pilesgrove, NJ. Viewing from 9 - 11 am. Masonic Service begins 10:30 am. Interment Salem Co. Veterans Cemetery, Pilesgrove, NJ.
Arr. by BAGWELL FUNERAL HOME, Penns Grove, NJ.

MR CHARLES WAS A VERY GOOD MAN.MY FAMILY SPENT ALOT OF TIME WITH HIM.WHEN WENT ON TRIPS,FAMILY GATHERINGS.HE SPENT TIME HERE IN NY WITH US.WE LOVE HIM VERY DEARLY AND WILL MISS HIM WITH OUR HEARTS.
