Charles Uber Obituary
Beloved husband of Beverly M. (nee) Surrell. Devoted father of Jeffrey and his wife Barbara, Karen Book and her husband Ronald, Linda Uber-Martin and her husband Edmund, and the late Dale Uber and his surviving wife Frances. Loving grandfather of Cheryl, Kevin, Connor, and Tyler. Cherished great-grandfather of Kyleigh. Dear brother of Neal Uber and his wife Patricia. He will also be missed by his many loving nieces and nephews.
Charlie was a dedicated Lieutenant of the Teaneck Fire Department for more than 35 years. Prior to his service to the community, he served his country in the U.S. Navy. He graduated Teaneck High School in 1945 and was an avid fisherman and gardener.
Arrangements: Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck. Inurnment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations in his name are appreciated to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater New Jersey Chapter, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834.
