I just learned today of Chuck's passing in our Edinboro Alumni magazine. He always wore a smile at Edinboro, and he didn't let me down 8 and 9 years ago when we ran into each other at Eisenhower Elementary at open houses. I was there for my daughter, who is 3 years older than Cameron, and we hadn't seen each other in almost 25 years and he greeted me like a good friend with his warm smile and a cheerful chat. I'm sure he is greatly missed by so many. My deepest sympathy goes out to his entire family and his closest friends.

One of the nicest people I knew in college. I feel so blessed and honored to have known Chuck when we were young. I wish I could tell him that and thank him for being such a good person. After reading the other entries, I am in awe of all of his goodness he gave to people and the affect it had on their lives. I can only imagine how many lives he touched in such a positive way. A reminder to all of us that the "glass is more than half full".

My deepest condolences to Sandy and all of Chuck's family - especially Courtney, Cameron and CJ - Your Dad was such a special person - he taught all of us the meaning of courage, strength, and humor - even in the face of this horrible disease. Not only from the moment that he was diagnosed, but always - Chuck was the most positive person I have ever met and I will carry his optimism and positive attitude with me forever - he was an inspiration. Rest in peace, dear friend - we will miss you forever.

And that is what you are experience right now.
May the Angels lead you into Paradise

Cam my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time, anything you need please let me know. I want you to know that your dad was one heck of a guy who I became friends with a few years ago coaching. Your dad went through so much but always was worried about everybody else and offered help to all who needed it. He was so proud of you and will always be looking down at you at every game you will play and always. Chuck I will miss you dearly, you helped me so much no one can belive. Thank you again for all of your words of wisdom I will live my life by them. Rest in peace my good friend.

Our thoughts are with the Vasco family.
Although our paths didn't cross as much in recent years, we will remember Chuck with a welcome smile whenever we did see him. In particular, we have great memories of working together to plan a high school graduation party for our boys.
