Charles Wheeling Obituary
Charles graduated from Southern Missionary College and went on to finish his postgraduate study in Divinity at Andrews University. He was a dynamic speaker and was invited to lecture on eschatology worldwide. He was the the founder of Inspiration Books East. He believed passionately in the imminent return of Jesus Christ. Friends describe him as generous, charmingly bossy with a wicked sense of humor, determined, productive, and best of all loving. His hobbies included gardening, stamp collecting, geology, astronomy, and he was a lover of all things furry.
Charles is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Judy, as well as his daughter, Stephanie (Daniel) Barber, three grandchildren, his cat Bobbie, two brothers and numerous friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Hurshel A. Wheeling, Jr., mother, Lillie Mae Chadbourne Johnson, and brother, Wayne H. Wheeling.
All of those he loved, and all of those he touched are invited to join in a memorial service at 3:00 PM, July 1st at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 1561 County Road 52, Jemison AL 35085. Following the service there will be a reception.
In Lieu of flowers it was Charles's wish that donations be made to IBE, Inc. EIN: 63-0831249 - Jemison, Alabama.
Rest in peace, Charles. You will be missed.

Brother Charles helped strengthen my relationship with Jesus Christ and opened my eyes to the End Times Prophecy. Thank you for everything you taught me Charles. It was an honor to meet you and see you speak in-person.

Uncle Charles was always a lot of fun. He loved to joke around with all of us cousins when we were kids. He would take us swimming in creeks and encourage us to play outside.
He was a great speaker whose purpose was to share the news of the soon return of our Lord and Savior.
Thank you Uncle Charles for being a bright light.

I loved listening to all of Charles sermons. He was a magnet and attracted many souls who were interested in the last days and teachings of Christ. He was well loved by many.. He will be missed by me and my family!!
