Services for Mr. Charles Earl "Chuck" Whiteside, 57, of Kilgore, will be held 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, at the First Baptist Church in Kilgore with the Rev. Joe Parnell and the Rev. David Hampton officiating. Prior to services, burial will be in the Kilgore Cemetery at 3 p.m. The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Mr. Whiteside passed away Monday, Jan. 26, 2015, at his home in Kilgore.

Chuck was born Dec. 12, 1957, in College Station to Charles and Jo Ann Whiteside. He was a 1976 graduate of Kilgore High School and Kilgore College. Mr. Whiteside was a member of Forest Home Baptist Church and was an active member in the church choir. He worked for Ana-Lab Corp. in Kilgore for 34 years as a field service technician. He was recently honored for driving 2 million miles without a significant accident. Chuck will be truly missed by all the loving family and friends he leaves behind.

He is survived by his parents, Charles and Jo Ann Whiteside, of Kilgore; sister, Nancy Brickhouse and her husband Mark; nephew, David Brickhouse; and niece, Elise Brickhouse, all of Newark, Delaware; as well as many other loving family and friends.

Memorials can be made to Texas Baptist Offering for World Hunger, www.hungeroffering.texasbaptists.org; Helping Hands of Kilgore, www.helpinghandskilgore.org; or to the Whiteside Scholarship at Kilgore College.
