Helen Johnson Obituary
Helen E. Johnson, 89, a longtime resident of Glen Burnie, died January 25 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
She was born May 30, 1921, in Germany, and enjoyed gardening and shopping.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, John Johnson; and brother, Siegfried Last.
She is survived by three sisters, Ina Lopez of Florida, and Hella Werdemann and Sabine Janczek, both of Germany; friends, James and Barbara Schwabline of Glen Burnie; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 28 at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, 1 2nd Avenue SW, Glen Burnie, where the funeral will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 29. Interment Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Maryland, 1107 Kenilworth Drive, Ste. 202, Baltimore, MD 21204.
