The last time I seen Charles, he had just got out of Boot Camp and came by the house. We both lived in the same neighborhood off of Clearview and Avron and went to school together,. I often wondered what happened to him and as of late he´s been popping into my head. So just like everybody else I got on the Internet to see if I could search him up. Seems I´m a bit too late. I had no idea he was living in Slidell. Funny how life has its twist and turns. I would have loked to have seen him again.

Chuck was a member of our family for many years. My husband Woodie and Chuck were dearest friends. When Chuck left the 262 Air National Guard in Bellingham, Washington, he went to my Mother (Dorothy Wallen) in Spokane, Washington to stay until he could find an apartment. He never left! He was the best thing to ever happen to Mama....the son she never had. And Mama treated him as her own. We all loved Chuck. I love Chuck with all my heart....as do all my children. Rest in peace dear boy and know that Miss Edith loves you.

Chuck was a member of our family for 13 years and our mother considered him one of her grandsons as did we all. He was wonderful and a true blessing to all of us. He walks with the Lord now.
