Charlie Brooks Obituary
Mr. Charlie Brooks, Jr., a resident of Montgomery, AL., departed this life on Thursday, August 3, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Klondike Baptist Church, 4600 Old Selma Road, Montgomery, AL with Reverend Robert Jackson, officiating. Interment will follow at Kindle Cemetery with the staff of Ross-Clayton Funeral Home, directing. He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving wife, Mary Louise Brooks; two sons, Steve (Teresa) Brooks and Charles (Felicia) Brooks; daughter, DeShana (Vernon) Chisolm; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Brooks; four brothers, James (Dianne) Brooks, Atlanta, GA; Larry (Yvonne) Brooks, Herman Brooks, Marshall Brooks all of Montgomery, AL; three sisters, Ida (Madison) Smith, Dorothy Mayes and Patricia Richards all of Montgomery, AL; eight grandchildren, Stephen (Richetta), Addison, John, Tashonda, Jared, Isaiah, Rickadia, Jonathan; two great grandchildren, Stephen "SJ" and Mason; mother-in-law, Lucy Pressley; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
