We have very many fond memories of our dear friend of 28 years. Great recollections of holidays; lads together skiing and family holidays in the USA. It was a pleasure to work for him. We were sorry we could not make the funeral. Charlie will be sadly missed. Our sympathy goes to Barbara, Charles & their families.

To my Dear Uncle Charlie, I have very fond memories of you when our two families used to gather together either in Derby Street or Rampside. I was very sad to learn of your passing. You were such a character and inspiration. You welcomed my then fiance into the fold by taking him shooting in Scotland which he will never forget on his visit from Australia. To Barbara and Charles and families I send my sincere sympathy and love. All my love Elizabeth Ratcliff (nee Elkin) Sydney Australia
