Charlina L. Sivels

Chesapeake - Charlina Lewis Sivels, 97, of the 800 block of Gloss St., entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 18, 2014. She was a member of the New Weeping Mary Missionary Baptist Church.

She was predeceased by her parents, John Henry Lewis Sr. and Amy Mercer Spence, and her husband, Ervin W. Sivels, Sr.

Left to cherish her fond memories forever include daughters, Helen Brooks, Loloe Elliott, Mary Simons, Judith Clyburn, Cynthia Spence; sons, William Sivels, Boston Sivels Sr., Glenn Sivels, Marquis Sivels Sr., Modestine Sivels I, and Randy Sivels; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a great-great grandchild; a brother, John H. Lewis Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held 2pm Saturday at New Weeping Mary Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 7-8pm on Friday at the church. Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Condolences can be offered to the family at www.pretlowandsons.com.
