Charlotte BROOKE Obituary
1925 - 2013
It is with sadness for a life lost, but thankfulness for a life well lived, that we announce the passing of Charlotte Blanche Brooke (nee Weatherhead) at the Misericordia Hospital on October 30, 2013.
Blanche leaves to mourn her passing, and to cherish their memories of her, her husband of 66 years, Ken; daughter, Marcia and son-in-law, Rob Colvin; daughter, Lucille and son-in-law, Jim Soneff; grandchildren, Cynthia (Cam), Michael (Jane), Josh, Caitlin and Jesse (Danielle); great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Julie, Madeline and Katie; brother, Charlie and sister-in-law, Helen Weatherhead and sister-in-law, Shirley Brink; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
We would like to thank the staff at the Misericordia Hospital's Unit 7 West for their care and compassion over the past two months.
A Celebration of Blanche's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 8, 2013 at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Chapel, 10011 - 114 Street, Edmonton.
For those who wish to do so, charitable donations in Blanche's memory may be made to S.T.A.R.S. Air Ambulance, 1519 - 35 Avenue E, Edmonton International Airport, AB, T9E 0V6, or to Hope Mission, 9908 - 106 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB, T5H 2N7.
