Charlotte Cooksey Obituary

Charlotte Ann (Blum) Cooksey, age 90, of Coshocton, formerly of Millersburg, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016.
Charlotte was born in Cleveland on November 15, 1925 to the late Elmer and Charlotte (Boyd) Blum. On March 19, 1948, she married John C. Cooksey, who preceded her in death on July 22, 2010. Charlotte was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her dog, Missy, was her constant companion and brought her much happiness.

Charlotte was a talented artist, an avid golfer, and avid bowler. She loved watching the Braves, OSU football, and her grandchildren's' many activities. Charlotte spent the last years of her life with her family close.

Charlotte is survived by her three sons, Jon Steven (Cheryl) Cooksey, Tim Scott (Susie) Cooksey, and Robert Alan (Terri) Cooksey, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Along with her husband and parents, Charlotte is preceded in death by her brother and sister.

A memorial service will be held for Charlotte in the Custer Chapel of the Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Jonathan Carlisle officiating. The family will greet guests in the parlor following the service.

Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
