Prayers will begin Saturday morning, 10:30 a.m., March 27th, at the HIGGINS-REARDON FUNERAL HOME, Boardman-Canfield Chapel, 3701 Starr Centre Drive, Canfield, Ohio, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11 a.m., at St. Christine Church, for Charlotte T. DeMar, age 87, who died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Boardman.
Charlotte was born Dec. 31, 1922, in Port Huron City, Mich., the daughter of Charles and Alice Cosgrove Olsson. She was a graduate of Ashtabula Senior High School, a homemaker and a member of St. Christine Church.
She is survived by her sister, Donna Jean (Ronald) Severa of Ashtabula; nephews, Sam, Gerald, David, James, Tommy, Jeffrey, Robert, Michael and Chuck; nieces, Madonna, Betty Ann, Patti, Peggy, Barbie Ann and Alice Ann; and numerous great-nieces and nephews, including Mallory Jean, Emma Rose and Logan.
Her beloved husband, Robert M. DeMar, whom she married Oct. 18, 1952 died May 26, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Betty Jane Webb and Barbara Headman; and a brother, Charles Olsson.
Friends may call Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society in Charlotte's memory.
