Charlotte Lynn Hardin, 53, passed into eternal rest on January 20, 2019. She was born in Houston, Texas, July 6, 1965 to mother Peggy Ann Caldwell and father Carl David Nunley.

Charlotte graduated from Scarborough High School Houston in 1983 and attended Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas and Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, Indiana. Her career in insurance began in 1988 as a life reinsurance analyst for Lincoln National Life followed by 13 years with American General Life Insurance. For the last 15 years she was an AVP-Client Manager for the marine and energy insurance division of Marsh and McLennan of Houston.

Charlotte took pride in her work and also had a passion for gardening, reading and spending time with family and friends and was a lover of dogs, especially "Lola." She was a faithful member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.

Parents Peggy Ann Caldwell Chrestman and Carl David Nunley precede her in death.

Left to cherish her memories are daughter Sarah Ann Hardin; sisters: Judy Willitzer (Ron), Anita Hochstein (Randy) and Sandy Scott; brother James E. Moore and nephews: Ronald James Willitzer (Chelsea), Joshua Scott (Caitlin), Sam Norton, Jacob Scott (Sarah) and Sean Hochstein (Nancy) and six great-nephews and three great-nieces.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A reception will follow in the Family Reception Hall at Brookside from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to MD Anderson Hospital and the SPCA.

A special thanks to family, friends and extended family and friends who supported Charlotte during her journey in life.
