Charlotte (Gadwell) Kocian

79 years of age, passed away on May 31, 2025 at Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown, after a short battle with cancer. Charlotte was a lifelong resident of the Lehigh Valley. Born and raised in Easton, she resided in Allentown for the last 30 years. She spent much of her life helping others in a CNA capacity, assisting them in their final journeys. She worked in various local nursing homes and as a visiting nurse's aide.

Charlotte is fondly remembered for her amazing ability to bake extraordinary desserts for family gatherings and sharing them with many people in her field.

Charlotte was an avid flower lover. Her home has always been surrounded by beautiful aromatic flowers. In addition, she was an avid animal lover. Her cats were favorite companions.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her son, William (Billy) Maddock III, parents

Charles and Anna Gadwell, brother Charles B. Gadwell and sister Marcia Susslin. She is survived by her sister, Michele (Gadwell) Kleckner, and nieces and nephews.

She will be sadly missed, however, we rejoice in her spoken commitment to Jesus as her Savior.

There will be a private family gathering as a celebration of life.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations in her memory to Peaceable Kingdom 1049 MacArthur Road, Whitehall, PA 18052 www.lvpeaceablekingdom.info
