Charlotte McCUTCHEON Obituary

McCUTCHEON, Charlotte Joyce (Rottluff) With great sadness we announce the passing of our mother Charlotte Joyce McCutcheon of Pitt Meadows on April 9th, 2010 at the age of 98 years old. Mom, was 20 days short of 99 years old. Mom went to school in Ridgedale and then later on to Business College in Vancouver, B.C. She married Robert G. McCutcheon on May 5th, 1939 and then became Mom to 4 children over the next 9 years. She worked as a secretary for the Probation Office in Abbotsford, BC and then later worked as a secretary for the Regional Director of Human Recourses until she retired at age 65 years old. In 1982 Mom went to live with her oldest son George and family. In 2003 Mom and George moved to Pitt Meadows from Vancouver Island. She peacefully passed away in her sleep at the Maple Ridge Seniors Retirement Village surrounded by family. She was pre-deceased by her Mother, Father, 6 Brothers and 1 Sister. She is survived by her 3 sons; George, William (Della), Jack (Gloria) and 1 daughter Josephine, 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. We would like to thank all of the staff at Maple Ridge Seniors Village for the wonderful care that Mom received from everyone. There will be a Memorial Service on May 8th, 2010 at 1:30pm at Garden Hill Funeral Home, address: 11765 - 224th Street, Maple Ridge, B.C In lieu of flowers you can make a donation to your favorite charity. To My Very Special Mom,You've been the Best Mom this world ever seen.We were so lucky to have you for our very own.We have so many wonderful memories starting right from a very young age.We all have Loved you so much,I'm going to miss seeing you every day,I know you were so very tired your last few days on this earth. You were ready to go home to all your family.God Bless You Mom.Always know that I love and miss you so very much.This will be my first Mothers Day I don't have you with me, but I will always have you in my Heart.I Love You Mom Forever. I was saddened to hear about dear Charlottes passing. I was one of Charlottes care givers at Golden Ears Senior Village. I had many laughs with Charlotte she was one of my favorites, and a pleasure to look after her needs. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time.
