I am so sorry for your loss but so excited for Char that she is with her Savior. I never met her in real life but she was a beloved friend on the Sonlight forums. I just sent my quilt blocks last week and I'm so sorry you need to deal with that and wish I could have known sooner. Char was a blessed woman who spent much time blessing others and the forum community will miss her greatly.

Terry & the girls,

I had the privilege of knowing Char through 2 forums, Sonlight and Loving Our Husbands. She was a very sweet lady! She loved the 3 of you so much, and it showed in the way she talked of you.

She blessed our family with some curriculum this summer the girls had finished with. She also prayed for my family when we needed lifting. I will miss her.

I'm so sorry the 3 of you have had to tell her goodbye for now, but I'm glad to know you'll see her again in Heaven.

I will always cherish the beautiful quilt and plush bunny Char made for my preemie, Leandra who is now nearly 3 years old. I always will remember her with fondness when I lay that quilt on my daughter and give her the bunny to snuggle with.

Hugs and prayers for her family. Be blessed in knowing she touched many many lives with the love of Christ.

Dear Terry, Abby and Jessica,
Charmin was a saint. She was the first person I met when we first moved back to Meridian. I was so happy to find out that we were both military wives involved with MOPS and that we shared a love for sewing and quilting. I can't tell you how many times she held my little Ethan as he cried all the way through those first MOPS meetings, and she was still holding him when I went to pick him up from the nursery. Since I didn't know anyone when we moved here, she was the first person on my "emergency call" list when I was put on bedrest with my second pregnancy. I am going to miss her greatly, but I rejoice in knowing that she is with God and is waiting for us all to join her!
I wish you much love,

Mike and Linda Urquhart

Charmin was a great friend to so many. She will be missed greatly. Sometimes it's hard to understand why things like this happen. Just try to remember that God's plan is perfect. He may not tell us why , but we must accept it. She's not gone, just went on to be with Jesus. I cannot wait to see her again!
