Chase Michael Bauwens was born September 19, 1995 to Rodney and Michelle (Ohlschwager) Bauwens in New Braunfels, Texas. He passed away on May 1, 2018 on his way home to his little family.
Chase had many special memories with many people, hunting, mudding, 4-wheeling, and anything outdoors. He was a great critic at Madisen's cheer competitions. Brandon will certainly miss his partner in crime and best friend. Chase took great pride providing for his little family.
He is preceded in death by Grandfather, Richard Bauwens, and Great-grandparents.
He is survived by parents, Rodney and Michelle Bauwens, brother, Brandon Bauwens, Sister, Madisen Bauwens, girlfriend, Ashlin Garza and her parents, Victor and Tammy Garza and Robert and Tina Garza, son, Cash Michael Bauwens, grandparents, Rick and Marilyn Heiser, Clarence and Sue McGowen, Judith Ohlschwager and Don Ohlschwager; Leo and Sharon Jasik; Aunts, Susie, Kelly, Sandra, Michele; Uncles Robert, Michael and Cookie, numerous other cousins , loved ones and tons of friends. Chase never met a stranger. Chase was a champion for the underdog.
Public visitation will begin 5:00 PM Monday at Zoeller Funeral Home and will continue until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Zoeller Funeral Home with burial to follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Bauwens, Daniel Rosales, Dalton Hall, Dakota Harding, Land Rutledge, Jack Garza, Bryan Garza, E.J. Jones. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rob Hicks, Travis Hall and Michael Kahoe.
