Cherry Ann Sedor

Cherry Ann Sedor, of Amherst, Ohio age 70, passed away on July 16, 2025, in Cleveland, Ohio. Known affectionately as Chee Chee, Cherry was a loving sister and aunt, cherished for her caring nature and passion for her family and pets. Her dedication extended to various animal organizations, to which she made frequent contributions.

Cherry's journey began in the classrooms of Amherst Schools, followed by Marion L. Steele High School, and she furthered her education at Lorain County JVS. Throughout her career, Cherry held various positions, notably with the Cleveland Indians and the Phoenix Coyotes, where she left a significant impact.

Beyond her professional life, Cherry was an avid animal lover and environmental advocate. Her commitment to these causes was profound and influenced many around her.

Cherry is survived by her siblings, Carole A. Torres, James A. Kimmel, Donna Palomo, and Robert Boggess; along with nieces Angelique Lyczkowski, Tara Kimmel, Gabrielle Stoddard, Jessica McClellan, Kassandra Yosa, and nephew James K. Kimmel. She also leaves behind five great-nieces and four great-nephews. Cherry was preceded in death by her parents, Laura and James R. Kimmel, her biological father, Duane Boggess, her brother Gary Boggess, and her grandmother, Anna Laura Talbot.

Cherry's wishes were to be cremated and buried beside her mother at Ridge Hill Memorial Park. A graveside service and Celebration of Life for Cherry will be announced at a later date. Contributions can be made to the Animal Protective League (A.P.L.), honoring her lifelong commitment to animal welfare.
