Johns Creek - Cheryl Ann Alexander, 75, of Johns Creek, Georgia, passed away on March 1, 2024. Born to her parents, Glenn and Edith Eilers in Washington, Illinois. Cheryl spent her childhood in Illinois and was a graduate of Washington Community High School, as well as Northern Illinois University where she continued her higher education.

Cheryl leaves behind her husband, Robert Alexander of 55 years; son, Ryan (Kate) Alexander; daughter, Jenifer (Mark) Johnson; and her grandson, James Palmer (JP) Alexander. Alongside her family, she also leaves behind many wonderful friends who have been impacted by the life she lived.

She was a talented self-taught designer and for many years an antiques dealer, which she enjoyed immensely. Her overall goal was to enhance the beauty in the world particularly in the appreciation of old and tattered things of previous generations. Her talents had been recognized in national publications and television programs.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Edith Eilers, as well as her brother Barry. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family has requested in memory of Cheryl to donate to the American Diabetes Association.

A Receiving of Friends and Family will be held on Friday March 15, 2024 at 10 AM with a Celebration of Life to follow at 11 AM at Green Lawn Cemetery. A secondary celebration will be held in Illinois following that. To offer your condolences and share cherished memories, please visit www.roswellfuneralhome.com

I'm a long time friend of Cheryl. We were in the antiques business together and often time's, Cheryl would come up to Ohio and buy from our shop. We loved sparkle and French decor. She was extremely talented! I'm saddened that I had know idea that she had passed. I noticed that it had been some time since she has posted on her social media sites. So I decided to reach out as time slips away from us. We love you up here in Ohio Cheryl and I will never forget our friendship.
