PIKETON: Cheryl Kay Crace Brown, 71, of State Route 220, Piketon, Ohio, went to be with the Lord Thursday, October 13, 2016. She was born July 5, 1945 in Waverly, Ohio daughter of the late Floyd "Strawberry" and Geneva Miller Crace. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Roger Brown; two daughters, April Kim Hartman and husband Jeff and Angela Kay Taylor and husband Jason; two sons, Rodney Benton Brown and Randall Kieth Brown and wife Kathryn; granddaughters, Alisabeth Taylor, Sami Sager and Cailyn Brown; grandsons, Brad, Brandon and Blake Spencer, Andruw and Phillip Michael Brown, Jacob and Benjamin Taylor and Dustin Hartman; great grandsons, Brentley Sager, Bentley and Brayden Spencer; great granddaughters, Lonna and Lacey; one sister, Joyce Ann Simmons and husband Denny, several nieces nephews and cousins, as well as special friends, Bill and Betty Fuller.

In addition to her parents, Cheryl was preceded in death by a brother, James Edward Crace.

Cheryl was a secretary for Fran Francis Realty for 28 years before working for Brewster Real Estate. Cheryl loved her church and church family at Calvary Baptist Church in Piketon. She always had a smile for everyone.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday October 16, 2016 at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor Jon Black officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery Piketon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Saturday and from noon until the time of the service on Sunday.
