Cheryl Calloway Obituary
Cheryl Calloway, 56, a native of Houma and resident of Lafayette, died Monday, April 2, 2012 at Heart Hospital of Lafayette in Lafayette.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 1830 Prospect Blvd. in Houma. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall, with burial at Southdown Cemetery in Houma.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny J. Calloway; three daughters, Mrs. Shawn (Dana McPherson) Gradney, Mrs. Wilton (Crystal McPherson) Demouchet Jr., and Deidre McPherson all of Lafayette; one sister, Mrs. Gilbert (Angie Mitchell) Parker of Houma; two brothers, Kirk A. (Pamela) Mitchell of Houma, and Marvin E. (Michelle) Mitchell of Baton Rouge; four grandchildren; and a host of relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Phyllis Sims Mitchell; a brother, Carlos G. Mitchell; and her grandparents, Felix Sims Sr. and Levorn Wallis Sims, and Hayes and Zenobia White Mitchell.
Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City/Franklin/Jeanerette is in charge of arrangements.
