Cheryl Capron Obituary
Born in Chicopee, Mass. on April 12, 1963, to Kathleen Lewis Mason of Penn Yann, N.Y. and the late David W. Mason. Cheryl grew up in Florida before moving to Newark, N.Y. to raise her children. She had moved to Meriden this past October to be with her daughter after becoming sick. She was a member of the Finger Lakes Antique Power Club, was an antique collector, loved animals, and enjoyed camping.
Besides her mother, Cheryl will be remembered by her daughter, Tabitha Capron and her husband, Thomas Konobeev, of Meriden; sons, Shawn Capron and his wife, Sarah, of Plymouth, Mass. and Chad Capron, of Clay Center, Kan.; significant other, William Cooney, of Lyons, N.Y.; brother, David Mason, of New York.
Friends are invited to visit with Cheryl's family on Saturday, Jan. 10, at Beecher & Bennett- Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden from 9 to 10 a.m. followed by a 10 a.m. memorial service. Shawn,Tabby, and Chad, I am so deeply saddened to hear of Cheryl's passing. She was such a great friend, and I will miss seeing her out and about, or in the salon.I will never look at an animal, especially a horse, without thinking of her and her love for them.
