Cheryl A. Haynes, 54, of Granite City, Illinois, passed away on January 3, 2024. She was born on October 11, 1969, in Covington, Louisiana. Cheryl was a kind-hearted person who would do anything for anyone. Family meant everything to her, and she cherished her loved ones dearly. She also had a great love for animals, particularly cats.

Cheryl is survived by her daughter Ashley (Mick), Along with her sisters Sherry, Sheila (Leo), and Alysia (Andre), as well as her nieces Maria, Brittany, and Aria, and nephews Terry, Timothy, and Enrique. She was preceded in death by her mother Shirley Oker and long-time friend Bernard Hogan.

In her free time, Cheryl loved indulging in various crafts. She enjoyed coloring pages, making jewelry, and creating diamond paintings. These hobbies brought her joy and allowed her to express her creativity.

A celebration of Cheryl's life will be held on January 19th, 2024, at 311 S. Main St. Caseyville, IL 62232, from 4pm to 7pm.

Friends and family are invited to join in honoring Cheryl's memory and sharing stories of her life. Cheryl was a loving mother, sister, and friend. Her kind nature and passion for crafts will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
