We have lost a part of Texas. You touched my heart when we were kids at Lamar Jr. High in Irving, Tx with your wit and charm. I am blessed to have reconnected with you the past few years and it was no surprise that you still had that wit & charm. My heart hurts. Sleep well my friend.

Cheryl my sweet niece. Your winning smile was so lovely and your sweet personality shall be remembered. I loved you so much. I will miss you.

Cheryl, I met you way back when you and my sister, Joanne Dierssen Balis, became great friends in high school, and was fortunate to know you throughout the years. We will miss you so much, my dear, and wish we could have relieved your pain. Rest now and be at peace.

They remained life long friends so I've had the pleasure to know Cheryl all these years as well. I didn't know you were in such pain, my dear, and wish I could turn back the clock.
