We have lost a part of Texas. You touched my heart when we were kids at Lamar Jr. High in Irving, Tx with your wit and charm. I am blessed to have reconnected with you the past few years and it was no surprise that you still had that wit & charm. My heart hurts. Sleep well my friend.

Cheryl, I met you way back when you and my sister, Joanne Dierssen Balis, became great friends in high school, and was fortunate to know you throughout the years. We will miss you so much, my dear, and wish we could have relieved your pain. Rest now and be at peace.

I've known Cheryl since she and my sister, Joanne Dierssen Balis, became great friends in high school many years ago. They remained life long friends so I've had the pleasure to know Cheryl all these years as well. I didn't know you were in such pain, my dear, and wish I could turn back the clock. Rest now and know that we miss you terribly.

Cheryl, to know you was to love you. Your smile will forever be in my memory, my heart and my soul.
May God bless those you've left behind and comfort those when their heart is breaking. You will be missed by so many.
I've always loved you.
