I was deeply saddened to hear of Cheryl's passing. I admired her courage. She was there to lend an ear and was genuinely interested in others. Cheryl had a quick wit and a joy for life; such a spontaneous spirit! Her empathic spirit touched me deeply. Keep dancing Cheryl. Love, Jo-Anne

Deb;
I was so sorry to hear the news of Chery's passing when Sandy sent me an email with the information. I will be unable to attend the celebration of her life as I am in the UK for a few more days. Sandy and I were very glad we were able to have such a nice visit with both of you recently, it means even more to us now. Cheryl will always be remembered and charished by us, graduates of the coming out group she lead. Know that our thoughts are with you.

Cheryl was not only a respected colleague for over 14 years but was a dear friend, mentor and a woman I highly admired.Cheryl was always there to assist with anything. She persevered when things became challenging and was available to share a story and a giggle. Her hearty laughter was heard throughout the building on numerous occasions. The qualities Cheryl possessed and shared with so many will truly be etched in my memory for always.To my colleague and special friend..I will miss you and continue to speak to the heavens where I know you are now at rest watching over us.

Although I only knew Cheryl briefly when I became Manager of Henwood Treatment Centre, it was obvious the important role she played at Henwood. Everyone I spoke with held her in high regard.
It is my loss I did not know her better. My thoughts are with you at this time.

Cheryl was my friend and my work colleague, and was a teacher in my life in more ways than she ever knew. I will remember her for how she walked through the world, and I am fortunate to have had her as part of my life. Her impact on me will be everlasting.

The loss of Cheryl will be felt in so many ways. A leader, a teacher, a faithful friend and loving partner. Together a great couple you made and a shining example for the community. Alone you will continue to shine with the strength, knowlegde of the wise woman that you are and your own love for life. Take care and time for yourself now.
