Cheryl Volpe Obituary
A longtime resident of Guelph, Cheryl was an Early Childhood Daycare Supervisor, Social Worker and an Educational Assistant at Our Lady of Lourdes High School in Guelph, Ontario, Canada and worked as a Courier for North Florida Pathology, Pre-Certified Patients at North Florida Surgeons and worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Gardens of Bridgehampton all in Jacksonville, Florida.
Cheryl has been a resident of Jacksonville for the past 20 years coming from Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
She was a very active supporter of the Southside Businessman's Club in Jacksonville and she served as a Registration Co-Ordinator and Co-host with her husband Angelo at the Annual conventions in the North American Commercial Vehicle Trade Associations for both the National Wheel and Rim Association and the Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network.
She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Angelo Volpe, who used to work at CJOY Radio and Dayton Walther in Guelph and an adoring son Jeffrey Volpe both of Jacksonville. Also surviving is her brother, Darley Frizzell of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
A celebration of Cheryl's life will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2014 from 1-4 pm at the Italian Canadian Club at 135 Ferguson St, Guelph, ON N1E 2Y7, Canada. Phone 1-519-821-1110.
In lieu of flowers, the family, requests donations be made to the Community Hospice, 4266 Sunbeam Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32257 or the Southside Business Men's Club, Youth Charities, P.O. Box 5053, Jacksonville, FL 32247.
Arrangements are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207.

Cheryl was more than a friend; she was family. For over 40 years, she and Ange shared in our celebrations and sad times. Regardless of the situation, Cheryl was always caring, loving and generous towards us, our children and our extended families.
She lived her life according to her heart and in doing so spread love, acceptance and joy to everyone she met. We will always be grateful that she was part of our lives.

I, along with Marcia Derede and Andy Behnan, had a wonderful time with Cheryl at Our Lady of Lourdes In Guelph. She was totally committed to the students she fostered. As Marcia (our guiding light) has previously entered heaven, I know that Cheryl was welcomed with open arms into the his kingdom. God is gathering a banquet of people in heaven that we will so surely miss here on earth. But we know, that these angels in heaven have welcomed Cheryl with open arms and they will continue to gather in joy and hope. Here they,without the confines of earth,will do wonderful works that pale in comparison to the wonders that they did on earth.
We all thank Cheryl for allowing us to know her while she resided in our midst.

Ange and Jeff,
Cheryl was a person who filled a room with her presence. Her caring spirit and sense of community were evident in everything she pursued. Cheryl, I am so very lucky I got to meet and know you for the year that I did. You were always a warm, welcoming presence to all the residents in Summer Grove. Cheryl, what can we say about you?
We met Cheryl, Angelo and Jeff about twenty years ago. We have traveled about that many places with them on both business and personal trips.
Did she make us laugh? Always - sometimes inadvertently! Was she boring? Never. Was she caring? Absolutely.
We know Cheryl loved Angie dearly as her soulmate. She adored their son Jeff. She will be so missed by them and all her dear friends.
