Chester Arthur Crowell III, 68, of Macon, died Friday, August 13, 2021. Memorial services will be held at 1:00PM Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Mulberry Street United Methodist Church with the Reverends Creede Hinshaw and Tommy Martin officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mulberry Street United Methodist Church, 719 Mulberry Street, Macon, GA 31201.
Mr. Crowell graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He was the lead RADAR programmer for the US Air Force for the F15 program during Desert Storm. He was also an artist and musician. Mr. Crowell was predeceased by his wife, Tomilyn Bell Crowell.
Mr. Crowell is survived by his daughter, Dr. Ciera Crowell; son, Chester Arthur "Chace" Crowell IV of Macon; brother, Thomas Patrick Crowell (Mary Kay) of Dahlonega, GA; and mother-in-law, Dr. Linda Sankey of Macon.

Arthur was truly the love of my life and I feel great sadness in his passing. We enjoyed some great years.

It makes me sad to say goodbye to this sweet friend. Arthur was unique, kind, brilliant, and caring. I think of Tomilyn so often, now I will remember them both, as dear friends and good folks.
