As I read through the memories and anecdotes of those whom loved Chevonne, I count it a privilege to have been her friend- even for a short bit of time. We met once in Seattle and then reconnected in her move to San Diego, where life had our worlds collide and end up in the same Congregation.
One memory I'll always treasure is making mini bouquets together from the Memorial flowers and dropping them off to different single sisters in our congregation. It was a treat to spend the day together, sharing in making others happy. And that's what she was known for. No matter how she was feeling or what she was going through, she possessed the unique ability to put her personal challenges aside and give her heart to others.
I cannot wait to see her again when she is perfectly healthy and sharing that big beautiful smile with us. Until then she is not forgotten. Death is only a pause, not a period. Looking forward to forever ~ 1 Cor 15:55

Chevy, you are always at your best when surrounded by your family and friends. You were I deed larger than life! But did not even know it. Gracious and Generous you were. I look forward to the time when you are awakened and see you together with your dad and grandparents and my dad. It (already) has been too long without you.....Love, your spiritual Auntie Roxie

I will always remember how sweet she always was to me. I looked up to her and strived to be a loving mother and Jehovah witness like her. I am saddened that I never got to give her one last hug, I will save this hug for her in paradise.
Love your cousin,

I met Chevonne shortly after she graduated from college. Little did I know we´d be connected in life FOREVER through my adorable grand-niece, Anyia Denea-Victoria. Through that glorious event, I didn´t just gain a niece...but Chevonne became family too!
Chevy was a tech savvy Wizard! To this DAY I´m still trying to master the various phone and TV Apps she insisted I have. Anything electronic I asked her to connect - DONE with ease.
I loved her contagious laugh and high pitch voice when she excitedly shared a story. I´ll never forget the continuous commentary she´d provide actors/actresses of ANY movie or show we might be watching. LOL! -- She was constantly informing them of their idiotic faults, short comings, and ridiculous choices. Hahaha -- The last time Chevonne visited she even scolded and chased off the birds in my yard! Haha ---She was sitting out back enjoying the sunset (by herself) yet I heard her fussing and she kept getting up reeling her arms around and then sit back down. I finally asked who was she talking to and she replied, "I´m chasing off those birds! The big black ones are being mean to all the other little birds, so I won´t let them stay!." LOL!!!! --- The girl even tried to control wild life! --- This went on for some time until BIG BAD and in CONTROL Chevvone saw a family of wild burros and came running back into the house. LOL!!!!
Chevonne was a Fashion Diva. She loved to shop and was de´best at finding a deal. But, I never understood how she could be so classy, decked out from head to toe, make-up and hair done for a glamour shot and then.... she´d jump in her TRUCK. LOL!!! - She LOVED trucks!
Dearest Chevonne, thank you for your friendship, the laughs, your love, and the memories. There are many more I´ll cherish and hold in my heart until we meet again. I am SO grateful that because of what our Lord and Savior did at the cross...I can rest CONFIDENTLY knowing we´ll have an ETERNITY to create a million more. XOXO
