Dear Uncle Chhun
we are going to miss you. you are my closest uncle that I ever had. You taught me alot. We played boucee and chess games in Phnom Penh. My three brothers, five sisters and I gave you a lot of troubles and you had help us to resolve our problems, When everyone needed help you were there caring and providing assistance, 40 years ago just before I went to study in Australia/New Zealand I did not have enough monies and you managed to give me $100 in cash. I remembered it well and grateful for your generosity. You gave me a farewell dinner in 1973 before I left the country. You came to the Airport Po Chen Tong to send me off even though you had a lot of works to do. When I I as young I saw you cried when you went to give merits and flowers at our grandparents tomb in Kirivong, even though you were ranked a captain in the army. I saw you ironed your white shirt even though you had servants and personal aide showing me you were a neat and tidy person. Nine years ago I came to visit you and stay with you and your family for one week. You gave me good advice to be a good person. Without your support I don't know where I would end with. I miss you always. May you rest in peace.
