Chris Sandoval, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on May 17, 2025, in Murray, Utah, where he spent his life building a legacy of love, hard work, and integrity. Born on July 26, 1958, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Samuel and LaRee Sandoval, Chris was one of seven children. He was the beloved husband of Debbie Sandoval, and the proud father of Cody (Erica), Kellee (Aurelien), Colton (Kylie Loelle), and Kylie (Eric). He was also a cherished grandfather to Sydney, Isabella, Hemingway, Matisse, and Jay, who loved and enjoyed the precious time they got to spend with him. His best friend and lifelong confidant was his big brother Steve.

Chris was a man of humble beginnings and big endings-full of heart, style, kindness, and quiet strength. A gifted listener and storyteller, he remembered the details others missed and made you feel like the only one in the world. He carried his many talents with dignity and moved through life steadily, creatively, and always building. He could make anything he set his eyes on. Known for his tireless work ethic and perfectionism, Chris took pride in doing things right. Organized, dependable, and always ready to lend a hand, he left a mark on everything he touched-from stucco to Venetian facades, stone fireplaces, and concrete creations. With hands both strong and gentle, he shaped his world with love, building a home that stood as a true reflection and lasting symbol of his devotion and care. Above all, Chris was a loving family man. His greatest accomplishments were not just in what he built with his hands, but in the deep relationships he nurtured with his friends and family. His kind heart, generous spirit, and easy conversation made him a friend to many. He had a laugh we all loved, and a quick, playful humor that brought smiles to those around him. Chris was the kind of guy that to know him was to love him.

We will remember you in the stories we tell, in our smiles and laughter, and in the way we see the world. We'll find you in moments of sorrow and in moments of joy and happiness, and in new memories where your love persists. When we look in the mirror, we will see you smiling back. Rest in peace Papa. We love you.

A private celebration of life will be held in his honor. Please contact the family for details.
