Mike and I will miss you. Even though we did not see each other a lot in these last few years, you and I did try. I remember many years ago at our house when you and I were in the basement because I was afraid of storms and Scott and Mike were out on the garage watching the storm. One of my favorite memories since you and I really talked for hours while the storm lingered.
Your family and all of us will miss you. So glad you got to be a grandma.
I will think of you a lot with fond memories. Rest in peace my friend.

I met Christa through her warm relationship with the Chirdon family. She, MaryEllen, and I were the "older" women at my daughter-in-law's (Michelle) bachelorette party. We hit it off immediately and had a fun time together. Just as has been written about her in her obituary, she was warm, friendly, kind, and personable! I felt like I had known her my entire life! I saw her at subsequent family occasions and always loved talking with her! We were friends on FB and I kept abreast of her traveling and other life/family events. I prayed for her on hearing her diagnosis. I agree that she is enjoying the spiritual bliss of heaven! Love to you all! She was an angel on earth!
