U MAY NOT REMEMBER ME IM LATOYA AND JERRY EDWARDS DAUGHTER I KNEW JACKIE KIANA AND CHRIS WELL CHRIS WASNT ONLY MY FRIEND HE WAS MY EX BOYFRIEND TO IT FEELS UNREAL I SIT AND CRY DAILY ASKING GOD WHY BUT I GUESS ITS SAFE TO SAY THT HES IN A BETTER PLACE NOW CHRIS WILL BE TERRIBLY MISSRD IN THE CHURCH AND YOUTH DEPARTMENT OF CORNERSTONE GOING ON OUTTINGS WILL NEVER BE THE SAME OR FEEL THE SAME WITHOUT CHRIS THERE I MISS HIS SMILE AND THE WAY HE HUGED ME I LOVED YOUR SON SO MUCH AND IT JUST DONT FEEL REAL THAT HE HS LEFT ME AND THIS WORLD BUT IF I REMEMBER ONE THING BOUT CHRIS IS THE GATLANGBOURGE TRIP TO TENNESEE ME AND CHRIS WERE DATING AGAIN ON THE WAY UP WE TALKED ABOUT DEATH AND WHAT OUR DYING WISH WOULD BE CHRIS SAID WHEN HE DIED HIS LAST WISH WOULD BE FOR PEOPLE NOT TO MOURNE HIS DEATH BUT CELEBRATE IT AND NOT FOR PEOPLE TO SIT AROUND AND CRY EVERYDAY I NO ITS GOING TO BE HARD CAUSE ITS HARD FOR ME BUT THATS WHAT CHRIS WANTED AND IM GOING TO DO IT AND BE STRONG FOR HIM CAUSE THATS WHAT HE WANTED "I LOVE YOU CHRIS AND YOU ARE FOREVER LOVED AND MISSED" YOUR FRIEN AND EX:GIRLFRIEND, KENTOYA ABNER

Kim,
I know that you are heartbroken and that nothing anyone says can change that. I just want you to know how much I care about you and how much I wish I could take away your pain. God will heal you.

To Kim and Jackie I did not know what I wanted to say it has been so many thoughts running thru my mind. I know that it is hard. I have watched both of you going thru something that no Mother or Father wants to face. I pray for your strength and like I have told you I am very proud of both of you. You have beautiful children that you have shown your pride in. I am thankful that I have been a part of it. To see Kim now sometimes I just look at her and think thank you Lord. I had the pleasure of getting to know Chris during his middle school years. He always carried a smile on his face and loved to pester me. What touched my heart about him was the love he had for people.

There simply are no words that can comfort us when we mourn a death, especially that of our very own child. The pain, sadness and distress; is like no other… the only comfort that gives us the endurance to go on, to survive, is Christ’s Love and the hope of being reunited with our loved ones for an eternity in God’s presence. We pray that this outreach of the Holy Spirit will be ever strong and consuming, and that Christian’s death will be glorified through Christ.

I wish I could be there and I wish I would've gotten to spend some more time with you. I will miss waking up in the mornings and see you wrote me saying "Cuz hit me up when you get on" or "Get at me when you wake up." I was looking forward to seeing you when I come home in May and listening to you play the guitar. I still can't believe but unbelievable events occur all the time. I love you and I'll miss you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this your time of loss, and though I have no idea what it is like to lose someone so close to me I share in your sorrow. As the days have passed and I have reflected on Chris's life the one thing I had to realize is though we all loved him so much God loved him more, and to know that his soul has found rest makes things a little bit easier to deal with. I had the pleasure of teaching Chris for 2 years and loved every minute of it. It was a blessing watching him mature and even more of a blessing when we met again at part of the same church family. I have so many memories of Chris and it is so difficult for me to believe this moment is real. I'm sure it's even more difficult for you, but I know you have the peace of knowing that God is in control and you cannot rewrite anything that is in God's plan. May you be blessed beyond measure. One thing I know for sure through watching you, Kim and Mr. Jackie, that you are well rooted in God and although you may have questions,most importanly, you know God for yourself and you also know that He is not in the business of trying to break or destroy you, but to make you strong and to use you for his glory. I am so sad of your loss of your son. Our deepest condolences are with you and your family. He was a wonderful young man. My son was a friend of Chris's. I know what a great son and friend he was to everyone. My son thought the world of him. He will truly be missed by everyone. There is nothing like a lose of a child.
