I found out about Christie through the National Adrenal Diseases Foundation. So terribly sad for her family and friends.

I lost my daughter Andie Robbins also 23 to Addison's Disease complication in 2005. Andie's younger sister, Hilary (now 25 and 20 at the time of Andie's passing) also has a number of autoimmune related illnesses.

I was touched by the eulogy provided by Christie's sister Jamie. I will keep Christie's family in my thoughts. I know how devastating it is to lose a vibrant, willful, life-affirming daughter.

Kind regards

Dear Char and Jim, you did good! You brought into this world an amazing spirit named Christie Marie and allowed her to kick around making a difference in ways big and small. Many think of a legacy of a person as one that comes with age. But not Christie; she didn't wait and created one early & often; one that will last the ages. She is beautiful, funny, a great friend and daughter. She will smile on all of you in the coming years and we will know she is the one angel that will make God giggle with delight, as I'm sure she'll get him to grant wishes he'd not thought of before!

Our love, prayers and hearts are with all of you now and forever. God bless and hold you near.

I went to high school with Christie, & though I only got one year with her, because I was a freshman when she was a senior, I'll always remember her. She was always wearing that amazing smile & had such a warmth about her. She never hesitated to stop & say hi even when we were rushing to class. I'll never forget those moments & I know that as long as I keep Christie alive in my heart, she will never be gone. I am deeply saddened by this, but at the same time know that Christie is sitting in heaven with all the beautiful angels. My heart goes out to Christie's parents, sisters, & extended family & friends. May time heal all your broken hearts. But remember you are forever going to be watched over & kept safe by Christie. Rest In Peace Christie, though you left before your time, you definitely left your mark on this world, & every person who came in contact with will never forget it. XOXOXO

Jim, Char, Mindy, Tammy and Jamie;
Our hearts are heavy, we loved Christie and hold such great memories of our times with her over the years. Her influence in our lives continues almost daily as part of our family's vocabulary. There is no such thing as a sandwich, it's a samo. Sprite? No minimints! Chicken, no chichen. "Wake up and smell the coffee!" Her giggle, her strong spirit, her intelligence and yes, her ability to get you to do what she wanted were all so unique. We loved her and will miss her greatly. "Silly
Goose" misses his "Egg-a-Muffin."

Christie you will be missed so much by so many. In high school you were always smiling and it seemed like you were everyone's best friend. The classes I had with you were so much fun...I don't know what I would have done without you in dance senior year! Not much changed in college...I was so happy to have a friendly, familiar face in my classes when I transferred to SJSU. Beautiful, happy, and always living life to the fullest is how I will remember you. My thoughts are with your family during this difficult time.
