Christina Noel Martin Dunn, 33, of Tallahassee, Florida passed away in her home on November 13, 2011.
She was born October 28, 1978, to E. Louis and Rebecca L. Martin, in Gainesville, Florida. She graduated from Leon High School in 1997 and received an AA from Bainbridge College. She married Robert L. Dunn on June 14, 2004 in Tallahassee and they have two beautiful boys, Riley and Darby. She was a lively, vivid, charismatic wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She had a strong passion for family, animals, music, romance and being the light in her children's lives. Her boys were her everything and was very involved in their lives. Christy founded Ohana Time Play Group. "Ohana means Family and Family means nobody gets left behind!" She was an avid volunteer at Imagine School at Evening Rose and The Preschool at Evening Rose. Christy was very passionate about writing and was published in the Tallahassee Democrat on several occasions.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Dunn; sons, Riley and Darby Dunn; parents, Louis and Becky Martin; sisters, Ginger Coriell (husband Lee) and Elizabeth Libby Martin all of Tallahassee, FL; grandparents, Donald and Roberta Inman of Melbourne, FL and Ronald and Joyce Coleman of Dayton, OH; in-laws, Mack and Sarah Dunn of Quincy, FL; nephew, Devin Coriell; niece, McKenzie Coriell both of Tallahassee, FL; 6 uncles; 4 aunts; and 16 cousins. Christy will be greatly missed by Robert's 3 brothers and their wives; 3 nieces; 1 nephew; 5 uncles; 4 aunts; 14 cousins and several adopted family members that all love her and hold her close to their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Elmer Luther and Elizabeth Bessie Martin; aunts, Marie Martin and MaryAnn Burns.
Visitation will be held 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 16 at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane Road. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 17, 2011, at Saint Paul's United Methodist Church, 1700 North Meridian Road. In lieu of Flowers, donations for a new playground may be made to: Christy Dunn Imagine Playground Fund c/o Florida State Credit Union at Evening Rose, 1612 Capital Circle NE, Tallahassee, FL 32308
Arrangements are under the direction of Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home in Tallahassee, Florida.

My prayers are with both the Martin and Dunn family. Christy and I grew up together, went to the same grade school, and attended girl scotts together. Love the photo of us in our funny glasses from the keepsake album. My heart breaks for you and your entire family.

My heart hurts for the loss of my dear high school friend. I remember when in high school Christy and I had so much fun together. And spending lots of nights at her house in her cool room with all her cool stuff! And playing with her sweet sisters (Ginger and Libby) :) Thanks for making us Smile all the time~ :) Thanks for reaching out to me and being my friend.I know your dancing with the angels. My heart goes out to the family! Sending prayers your way! Christy was a admirable unique woman that touched the lives of many in the community. She will truly be missed and remembered as a mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend!

Christy touched our life, like she did so many others that were fortunate enough to meet her. Our hearts are heavy with her passing and we will always remember her. She could brighten anyone's day and her smile always lit up there room when she walked in. We are so thankful our girls got to spend some one on one time with her over the summer and bond. Mac and I are always here whenever you need us, so please don't hesitate to pick up the phone. Love, hugs and prayers!

MY favorite memory of Christy is a halloween many years ago, she was adorable. I can still hear her sweet voice & see her beautiful smile. Forever she will stay in my heart. My thoughts & prayers are with her family.

Becky (Louis) and family my prayers are with you and all during your time of grief. Christy so fondly known from many years ago when we worked together at FSU. I can say stay strong, but we know how much our children mean to us. God needed a beautiful flower and he chose Christy. It is with a heavy heart, asking the Lord for the strength.
