I first met Tina when I joined Russian Hill Neighbors. From the start, she stood out-the vibrant redhead with colorful clothes and bold necklaces who was always in motion. She encouraged me to take on a larger role in the organization and encouraged my thoughts and ideas. Tina seemed to know everyone in the neighborhood and city and always knew who to contact to get things done.
Like my husband and I, she and Mike loved to travel, and we often shared stories about the places we had visited.
Our neighborhood lost a good neighbor when she and Mike moved away (although Mike continued to help us with our website even after they moved).
Mike and family, I hope your memories bring you comfort during this difficult time.

I first met Tina and Mike at a Russian Hill Neighbor community meeting. I was then President and we put out a call for volunteers. Tina's hand popped up quickly, much to Mike's dismay. It seems Tina was always quick to jump in and help. There was such a powerful force in that little package! What a gift both she and Mike were to our organization. I'll always remember Tina's vitality and spirit. Such a blessing to all who knew her. Hugs and blessings to her family. I can't imagine the void left by her passing.

Tina was a spirited woman who taught me so much about community engagement, and the power of persistence. I will always remember her joyous energy and the way she inspired everyone around her.

Tina's vibrant spirit and flair for fashion will be missed. As a neighbor on 43rd Street, I was blessed to have her as part of our close knit group. She and Mike fit right in with everyone and they embraced all of the holiday festivities that are associated with our area. Even when Covid tried to sequester all of us Tina started a Thursday night front lawn party cheekly called Garbage and Giggles (Thursday is the day we all take out the garbage cans). These evening gatherings brought all of us closer and cemented lasting friendships. You made the world that you touched a better place, Tina. Cheers, Susann Hadler

Mike and Family, We all lost a treasured friend, wife, mom, grandmother in Tina. She was one of the kindest persons we know. We treasured her adoration for our young redhead, Kenzie. Tina is in a wonderful place, likely seeing her family and getting it ready for the rest of us. God Bless you all, Paul

Tina, so present in many family gatherings and always interesting to chat with. Cousin Mike, her husband, their children and grandchildren will certainly deal with this tender goodbye in their own personal way as Tina was personal. Her sweet Irish face will always be in my memories in San Francisco especially. It will never be the same for me in that City. She and I strolled Haight Street, attended Mass at St Agnes, and there was a group of us relatives at Late Night Catechism way back, and at Fisherman's Warf. Like many in the St Patrick's Parade, Tina tossed candy or green beeds as she rode in one of the cars for the North Beach Neighborhood, my guess. Mike and Tina and me and a friend attended Sarah Brightman "Space" Concert in San Jose - another fun time. In London with my father in fall of 84, I sat with Tina in her living room and chatted away. She showed me a purse that a pickpocket sliced when she had been at a busy Marketplace in the UK. I share the love of the Arts with Tina - God Bless her and Mike, Kevin, Kelly and grandchildren, and Cousins. "It's a long way to Tipperary". Love, John
