Christina(we all called her Kirby) was one of the first people to say hello to me when I was on a tour and shadowing a student at Shabazz. Her friendliness continued throughout my education at Shabazz. She inspired me to go on my first trip class and take advantage of all that the amazing alternative High School had to offer, and it was better because of her. Sending sun, prayers and chants.

Christina was one of the best friends a person could have. I will miss her forever. She was always there for me when I really needed a friend I tried to be the same for her. I agree with Mary, her laugh is truly what I will miss the most. I love you Christina.

So sad to hear of Christina's passing. I have so many wonderful memories from fun in middle school, boating in Chicago and summers playing softball. I will keep her and the Kirbys close in my thoughts.

My darling niece Christina will be deeply missed - forever.
She was a unique, loving, fun and beautiful woman who bravely battled a terrible disease.
I think what I'll miss the very most is her wonderful laugh which, no matter what, always made me laugh as well.
May you rest in peace, dearest Christina.
Love,
Aunt Mary
