CHRISTINA K. SWEET

Christina K. Sweet, nee Kirby, age 32, passed away in Bozeman, MT on May 25, 2011. She was born in Chicago, IL on December 2, 1978, and is survived by her parents, James J. Kirby and Julie K. Maxwell; and by her sister, Kelly M. Kirby. Christina was an adventurous young woman who had a passion for travel and had visited all 48 contiguous states. She loved to be in places that had easy access to the beautiful outdoors and had lived at one time or another in Chicago, Madison, WI, Portland, OR, Glenwood Springs, CO and Bozeman. She was especially fond of Los Cabos, Mexico, a place where her family has deep roots. In each place she formed great friendships and appreciated all that those places and the people who lived there had to offer. Many will miss her. Christina is also survived by her aunts Catherine Kirby-Legier (Gerard), Mary Kirby, Judy Kirby and Connie Maxwell. Services have been held. Memorial donations may be made to Bozeman Deaconess Hospital (Diabetes Center), 931 Highland Avenue, Bozeman, MT 59715 or to any other organization that works to alleviate the scourge of Type 1 diabetes or to support those afflicted by the disease.
