All though I hadn't seen you in far to long it doesn't mean I didn't think about you all the time. You and pop were the people that gave me an out look on life that's hard to find. The love you gave freely to anyone wiling to give it back is something that I will miss dearly. I wish my kids knew you the way that I knew you. No matter what I had done good or bad I knew that your house was my safe haven from what ever was happening in my life. Trying to write this I keep coming back to the word LOVE and I think that says a lot about the person you were. I loved going to your house all my life as a kid for the treats, as a teenager to get away from mum dad and the boys, and as an adult because I loved you so much and love to see you and pop and how you interacted. I loved listening to the stories that you told along with pop and Aunty Bridie. I loved the start of our phone calls pop would answer and everyone know his "hello" I'd say hi pop its Dave then the best bit " hello Dave, Chrisie its Dave pick up" then the three way phone call about anything and nothing.
If I could have one last conversation with you I would say how sorry I am for not coming to see you and how much I Iove you. I know you will be in heaven with pop watching over everyone you loved and I know that if I need to talk to you that all I need to do is find a quiet place in the garden with a cup of tea and you will listen like you alway did.
I love you Nan RIP

Mum, I can't imagine my life without you. You were my rock, all I have now are my treasured memories. You are now reunited with Dad and for that I will let you go.
